Dog Days of August... {summer recap}

This summer has been...different.  No hot, hectic days, just warm, breezy, relaxed weeks floating from one to the next.  It's been refreshing and I feel will make the transition to Fall that much easier.

We've spent our time locally; on the beach, at home or with friends and family.  The beach buggy pass has been precious, our best family time was spent on the beach.  My baby mastered swimming this summer with a lot of practice, so I relieved about that. The water park, boardwalk, a cardboard boat race and lots of Fro-yo round off Summer 2014.

The boys are 9 and 4.  Hoping it was memorable for them.

So now as the geraniums are browning and leaves are starting to crisp, we will transition to school/sports/birthdays and the holidays.

Cousins - We've since gained a new boy...Jackson Connor was born on August 3rd!

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”

Hoping your summer was amazing as well...

Thanks for visiting!
