Grilled Peach and Gorgonzola Pizza {recipe swap}

Fun, delicious way to hide fruit from the kids! Using a Boboli crust and leftover chicken makes this a snap for week night meal.

Grilled Peach and Gorgonzola Pizza w/a Balsamic Reduction

1 Boboli thin pizza crust
1 T Olive Oil
1/2 Cup of part-skim, shredded mozzarella
1 Cup of shredded chicken
1/3 Cup of Gorganzola crumbles
1 Medium peach, thinly sliced
1/2 Cup of Balsamic vinegar
Pizza Stone (optional)

Preheat oven to 450*

Place Boboli crust on pizza stone and lightly brush entire surface with olive oil (being especially generous around the crust).

Grill peach slices on a hot grill, just long enough to get a char mark.  Once off the grill, slice into half moons.

Back to your crust.  Layer evenly with 1/2 of the mozzarella, chicken, gorgonzola and peach slices. Finish off with the remaining mozzarella.  Bake for 10 minutes, or until crust browns and the cheese bubbly.

While pizza is baking, place the balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over med-high heat; stir and cook until reduced to about 2 tablespoons (about 5 minutes).  Drizzle reduction over pizza.

Cut pizza into wedges, serve with a crisp green salad and enjoy!

Crew's Quarters {ORC Finale} Playroom Bath

Better late than never!  This bathroom is off of a kitchenette in our playroom.  The kids playroom was freshened up a few months ago, you can see that here.

These are all of the before pics.

I had dreams of new flooring, a plank wall and an ambitious, quirky closet door, but whatever...it looks refreshed and it is going to take a beating by kids and visitors.

So here is our beachy bath that fits our Jersey Shore lifestyle perfectly!

My husband ripped out the old wire shelving and built these.

They are much deeper than what we had and are more pleasing to the eye.

I'll let the pictures do the talking, sources listed below...

The boys love this refreshed space!

5 on Friday

1. Ebates.  I cannot stress how awesome this program is.  Sign up, use it and make it a habit.  I've been a member since 2011 and have received almost $620 in cash back.  In addition to using it for online shopping, I also just used it recently with Hotels.com.  We were barely home when I got my cash back for our hotel stay.  Very cool.  Try it here!

2. One Room Challenge.  FAIL.  But I hope to complete my room within the next few days and show up late to the party. Please visit Calling it Home to see all of the Fabulous makeovers (there is some serious A-list talent going on over there...)

3, 4, 5. Chicago.  We had the most amazing weekend in Chicago and it is now my favorite city (and from someone living smack dab in between NY and Philly, that's saying alot).  I will be doing a wrap-up post next week on the wedding we attended, the food + drink and the sights.  Simply awesome...and it was wonderful to reconnect with my husband and "date" again!

Undone {One Room Challenge 2014} Crew's Quarters

Undone...but I will be, as I've come this far.  We simply ran out of time.  Between travel(Chicago was Amazing!), day jobs and our babies...some things are more pressing.

I could have hastily thrown it all together, but that's not my style.  I want to feel good about this space and stay true to my original inspiration.

PLEASE go visit the other ORC Linkers, because there is some serious home runs and magic being made over at Linda's!

The good news is that most of my finishing touches will involve shopping.

I acquired this vintage camp stool for the room.

Hubs will be painting and caulking and finishing the shelving.

Still need to purchase fixtures and textiles (that's the fun part!)

So here I sit broken-hearted, but look at where I started!

So please stop by when the room is complete and thanks for your patience!
