Weekend

What a gorgeous weekend we had here on the Jersey Shore!

It made for a beautiful day for the Polar Bear Plunge.  The ocean temps were about 32 degrees, but 60-degree air temps took the edge off.

My husbands PBA plunge team.  All combined 1.5 Million dollars was raised for Special Olympics NJ.

Sunday was lovely as well...we got in a walk/bike at the park and some playground fun.

Weekend {a little late}

Snowed in

Homemade blueberry muffins and fruit

Made split pea soup with ham and homemade croutons {recipe later this week}

Also, tomato and fresh herb sauce with hot & sweet sausage.  Did not make healthy resolutions easy being snowed in with such hearty food...  Started fresh yesterday morning.

By Saturday afternoon, I had a roaring snow-glare headache.

We started to tackle our playroom clean UP and OUT.  This may or may not be part of my One Room Challenge room this year.  If it is, it will encompass the playroom powder room, as well...

Weekend Update

Brennan is almost 4...

Sweet boy xo! 

Lots of sugar, whatever he wants.

We have multiple soccer games, an octoberfest BBQ, yard work and a birthday dinner going on this busy weekend. Perfect timing for a cold. I got carded buying cold medicine yesterday. Weird.

Also, the electrician is coming to hang my fixture for the one room challenge. Less than 3 weeks left!
