Two of my favorite holiday cocktails. The Homemade Irish Cream is giftable and the Brandy Alexander is a perfect cocktail to serve on Christmas or New Years...
Homemade Irish Cream
1 ½ c. Jamesons Irish Whiskey (more or less if you want. Sometimes less is more)
1 can of Eagle sweetened condensed milk
1 cup lite cream
4 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
2 tbsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Mix in the blender for 3 minutes. Let it sit overnight or for a couple of days; it gets better as it ages. Don't let the raw eggs deter you, the alcohol will do its thing. This will be good for one month and makes about one liter. Use empty liquor bottles, mason jars or order new bottles from Amazon and print your own labels!
Brandy Alexanders
1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Dark Creme de Cacao
1 oz. Half and Half
1/4 tsp. Grated Nutmeg
Blend or shake with ice ~ delish! {even nicer when it sits for a bit} These are traditionally served in my family on Thanksgiving day once the food prep is complete. Just one per adult...they are rich!
