Cumberland Island {GA} and Dungeness

While on our Thanksgiving trip, we visited Cumberland Island and the ruins of one of the Carnegie summer homes, Dungeness.  I found this fascinating, as I am obsessed with the gilded age and the decadence of that period.  

My office is actually housed in the former stables (renovated, of course) of the John D. Rockefeller Golf House in Lakewood, NJ.  More on that here: Rockefeller Golf House.  Here are some vintage postcard photos of my location...

Thanksgiving Dinner Rewind

Better late than never.

We were in Georgia, staying with family.

My aunt and uncle are house flippers.  This is their current project.  Soon to be on the market.  This home is so interesting...and huge.  My aunt scored the church pew on Craig's List.  Very long, works so well in the space.  More on the house later...

Christmas Card 2013

We are back from vacation and I am scrambling to get caught up on EVERTHING!  Work, laundry, decorating, menus, yard work, etc...  We had an amazing time and I will be sharing a lot from our time away in the coming days.

These are from the Santa Express in St. Mary's, GA.  Seriously ya'll, this was the best Grinch ever.  That kid is going places!

One thing that was easy and hassle free was ordering my Christmas Cards from Shutterfly.  I was going to stage a whole photo production before we left, but time got away from me.  Luckily, from the happiest place on earth, I was able to get a photo op.  Reasonable prices, fast shipping and editing options, what more can you ask for!
